Born in Montpellier (France) in 1986, I have been interested in reptiles since I was young. My uncle is a former soldier from French Guiana, he passes down to me his passion for snakes and lizards of the Guyana wildlife. My interest in turtles started when I was about 12/13 years old, when a couple of family friends gave me two turtles from their garden. I quickly started research, learning all about turtles. So I enrolled in a local association for the protection and preservation of turtles that allowed me to expand myself in this field. I also, through this association, acquired internships in the largest French center for turtles:

 

My involvement on the Internet since 2002, where I also learned a lot through discussion forums. In 2005, I decided to create my own website to inform the neophytes on the life of a turtle. I think today I’ve succeeded in giving back the same information to you. The site provides information about 500 different visitors per day. This result motivated me to put in place another platform of the site in Spanish and has emerged in late 2006.
The 2007 program has been very busy since I was working on the turtle Gazette which is a free cyber magazine that I created in November 2006. Today it has nearly 1,000 subscribers and is relatively well distributed over the net.
The program for 2008 is also very busy since the Gazette turtle is growing.
Besides that, I am a student in the field of events and communication.
